Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Kopejtka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kopejtka comes to the cage accompanied by Metamorphosis by Blue Stahli. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergio Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Kopejtka has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Midnight MMA in the buildup to the fight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sergio Tyson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Sergio Tyson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tyson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kopejtka to the ground. Tyson is now in Kopejtka's guard.
Tyson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kopejtka is bucking up trying to escape but Tyson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
