Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Ronbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard stuns Ronbo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ronbo's coach down at EUOLUCAO MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ronbo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ronbo moves in looking to clinch but Maynard pushes him off.
Maynard lands an overhand right.

Maynard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ronbo is fending him off so far but Maynard persists. Nope, Ronbo circles away and we're back to standing.

Ronnie Ronbo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Maynard is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Ronbo doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Maynard crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Maynard's bad books for that mishap!
