The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Yagami both land. Nice combination.
A nice inside leg kick there by Yagami. That's going to slow Mac down.
Yagami tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yagami throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mac avoids the head kick by Yagami.
Yagami throws a head kick that misses.
Mac steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yagami.
Yagami lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yagami throws a head kick that misses.
Yagami misses with a head kick.
Yagami digs a good hook to Mac's body.
Mac misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Yagami scores with a head kick. Mac tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Yagami is breathing heavily.

Mac closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yagami quickly recovers to half guard.
Yagami might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mac passes into side control, despite Yagami's attempt to control the position.

Mac has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Yagami is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mac yanks on the arm and Yagami is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mac.
