Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sika Jauheliha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Guerreiro by Curumin. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been informed that Jauheliha has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Alves throws a big shot that misses.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jauheliha.
Jauheliha throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Alves connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Alves keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Alves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jauheliha but Jauheliha pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jauheliha tries a low kick but Alves avoids it.
Jauheliha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jauheliha's waist but Jauheliha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side.
Jauheliha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been told by Alves's head coaches at Blunt Force Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Jauheliha keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Alves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jauheliha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alves changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jauheliha looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jauheliha pushes Alves away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Alves gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Alves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jauheliha is on top in guard.
Alves is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Alves looking for a triangle here. Jauheliha is fighting it but it looks tight! Alves pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jauheliha is tapping out - this one is all over!
