Velasquez gets the takedown into side control.
Velasquez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Watts is not content to let Velasquez control the position.
Velasquez in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Velasquez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Watts manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Watts slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Watts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Velasquez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Watts is tightening it up a little... Velasquez has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Velasquez reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Velasquez taps out! Nice BJJ there by Watts!
