Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Heales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frankie Heales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carlos Rey!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heales throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Heales's head coaches at Elite MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Heales takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Heales throws a sloppy head kick and Rey moves out of range easily.
Heales tries to close the distance and clinch but Rey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rey lands in his opponent's guard.
Rey is stalling in the full guard.
Rey throws a big elbow that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rey is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rey lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Heales has momentary wrist control but Rey slips an elbow through the middle.
Rey makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Heales controls Rey momentarily but Rey frees himself.
Heales wants to sweep here but Rey controlling him for the moment.

Heales can't keep his opponent in guard - Rey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Rey working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rey takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Rey landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Rey winds up and cracks Heales with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Rey slips a nice elbow through Heales's hands, connecting with Heales's forehead.
Rey is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Rey lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rey content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Heales misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rey passes the guard and advances to mount!

Rey is landing with some decent strikes but Heales is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Heales is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rey postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Heales out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rey goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
