Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taishi Mori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Joyenergizer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Taishi Mori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mori gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ramirez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mori scores a nice knee to the body.
Mori has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ramirez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mori breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ramirez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mori.
Ramirez avoids the head kick by Mori.

Mori feints and as Ramirez raises his hands in defense, Mori changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mori is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ramirez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ramirez has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ramirez wants to stand and escape but instead Mori has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Mori slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mori thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mori is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ramirez looks like he's trying to stand up.

Mori is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mori is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ramirez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mori.

Mori swings around for an armbar but Ramirez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mori's guard.

Ramirez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mori to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ramirez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mori pulls down on the head and he's put Ramirez to sleep! This one is all over!
