The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgarry fails to land the takedown.
A combination from Roberts does no damage.
Mcgarry misses with a takedown attempt
and Roberts counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jj Mcgarry has been cut.

Mcgarry shoots in for a double leg but Roberts sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mcgarry fails with the takedown
and Roberts counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Roberts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roberts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mcgarry backs up against the cage.
Roberts tries to clinch up but Mcgarry circles away and keeps his distance.
Roberts misses with a double jab.

Mcgarry looking to score a takedown here. Roberts is defending well but Mcgarry drives through and ends up in Roberts's guard.

Roberts tries to kick Mcgarry off but Mcgarry keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
