The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner throws a hook but Jigster avoids it easily.
Turner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jigster connects with a leg kick. Turner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jigster has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Jigster shoots in looking for a takedown but Turner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jigster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jigster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jigster is keen to just control but Turner is a slippery customer.

Jigster has hold of Turner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Turner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jigster has control of Turner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Turner regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
