Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hamish Gaffney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaice Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Hamish Gaffney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gaffney paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gunn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gaffney's sensitive parts.
Gaffney shoots in and drives through. Gunn sprawls well.
Gunn cracks Gaffney with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gunn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gaffney under the eye.
Gaffney darts in looking for a takedown but Gunn gets double underhooks and turns Gaffney into the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gaffney parries the strikes from Gunn easily there. Gunn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gaffney to escape.

Gunn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gunn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gaffney has his hands clasped together around Gunn's back. He's all about the action.

No joy there for Gaffney, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gaffney wants to get up but he can't break Gunn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kaice Gunn spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
