The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shunkov closes the distance looking to clinch

and Moran holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Shunkov jumps guard but Moran turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Shunkov pushes Moran off looking to stand but Moran dives back in and keeps control.

Moran drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shunkov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moran has Shunkov in his guard.

Shunkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moran pinned against the cage. Moran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Moran ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moran no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alvin Moran wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Moran is pressed up against the cage. Shunkov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moran down to the mat. Moran avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Moran is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Shunkov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
