And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Briggs!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hajs stuffs the takedown.
Briggs throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hajs counters with a two punch combo.
A shot to the body from Briggs misses
and Hajs counters with a three punch combo that has Briggs backing up. Briggs nods at Hajs to acknowledge the strikes.
Briggs slips a jab and a cross from Hajs.
Briggs wants to clinch but Hajs slips to the side
and Hajs counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hajs!
Briggs has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Lance Briggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hajs fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Good leg kick by Hajs there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hajs lands a head kick!
Briggs misses with a left hand
and Hajs counters with a nice uppercut.
Hajs scores with a head kick. Briggs tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Hajs closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That kick from Hajs tenderised Briggs's leg. Briggs is trying to keep his angry face on.

Briggs misses with a body shot
and Hajs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hajs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from Briggs misses.
Briggs takes a swing at Hajs's ribcage but misses.
Briggs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hajs moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A combination from Hajs does no damage.

Briggs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hajs's half guard.
Briggs is thwarting Hajs's attempts to control the position.
Briggs is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Briggs connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Briggs is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hajs is forced to tap! Great finish!
