Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Testa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Testa's entrance music is The System Gotcha. A fine choice. Nick Testa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugo Lewis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Testa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Testa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Testa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewis moves away.
Lewis tries to clinch up but Testa circles away and keeps his distance.

Testa throws a sloppy head kick and Lewis moves out of range easily.
Lewis slips a jab and a cross from Testa.

Lewis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Testa gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Testa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lewis is trying to stand.
Testa is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hugo Lewis wasn't active enough on the ground.
Testa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lewis checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Testa cracks Lewis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Testa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lewis.

Lewis is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Testa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Testa misses with a head shot. Lewis uses the momentum to regain guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lewis rushes Testa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Knees to the body from Testa.
Testa stops a takedown attempt from Lewis.

Lewis gets control of Testa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lewis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Testa wants to get up but he can't break Lewis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Testa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lewis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lewis has escaped and now he's on top!

Testa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Testa is striking off his back. Lewis thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Lewis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lewis lands a nice short elbow.
Lewis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Testa wants to get back to full guard but Lewis has passed into side control.
Testa is looking for a sweep.
Lewis takes a little break here. Testa wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Testa gets back to half guard.
Testa wants to improve his position but Lewis is controlling well.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hugo Lewis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Testa misses with a body kick.

and Lewis counters with a thumping low kick.

Testa looks to land a body kick but Lewis moved away.

Testa drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lewis has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Testa off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Testa throws a jab but it's blocked by Lewis.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch but Testa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Testa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hugo Lewis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Lewis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Testa's guard now.
Lewis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lewis is working Testa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hugo Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Nick Testa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Lewis.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Testa.

We're going to have a standup here because Nick Testa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Testa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lewis tightens his grip and picks Testa up, before dumping him to the ground. Testa manages to land in guard.

Testa looking for a guillotine here but Lewis defends easily.

Lewis is pushing down on Testa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Testa is fighting to maintain full guard but Lewis has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lewis content to control rather than advance.
Lewis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Well, if Lewis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lewis wants to work for an arm triangle but Testa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
