The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamble throws a jab but it's blocked by Carpenter.
Carpenter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gamble swivels and escapes.
Gamble scores with a jab to the jaw.
Serge Carpenter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carpenter takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Gamble fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Carpenter square on the jaw! Damn, Carpenter is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
