Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danial Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dummy Dumb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dummy Dumb acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dummy Dumb!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dumb closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morse's guard.
Morse keeping moving, preventing Dumb from controlling successfully.
Dumb wants to get up but he can't break Morse's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dumb loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dummy Dumb hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Dumb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dumb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dumb stays in close to Morse's body and controls the position.
Dumb has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Let's hope that Dumb has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Dumb can't control as he wanted to and Morse manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Dumb is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morse is just riding it out for now. Dumb eventually gives up the hold.

Dumb stands and steps away. Morse gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Morse drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dumb manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Morse has Dumb in his guard.
Dumb seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dummy Dumb has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Morse tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dumb paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Dumb counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dumb perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Morse tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Dumb has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Dumb throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Morse because Dumb loaded up on that one.
Morse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dumb on the ground.

Dummy Dumb showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dumb throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morse's waist but Morse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dumb off to one side.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dumb is defended easily by Morse.

Morse lands a good knee to the midsection. Dumb won't want to take too many of those.

Dummy Dumb is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dumb is looking to take a break and control but Morse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Danial Morse.
I think Dumb has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
