Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prince Pruitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaholo Kealoha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaholo Kealoha has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Prince Pruitt's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kealoha is looking to clinch.

Pruitt moves into range and clinches up with Kealoha.
Pruitt prevents a body shot from Kealoha.
Kealoha tries to throw a body punch but Pruitt avoids it by throwing Kealoha back against the cage.
Kealoha misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pruitt.
Kealoha changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pruitt fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kealoha tries to clinch up.
Pruitt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Pruitt moves into the clinch successfully.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kealoha.

Pruitt is trying to break the clinch but Kealoha is controlling him.

Kealoha unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Kealoha using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pruitt has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Pruitt misses with a punch to the body.
Pruitt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kealoha gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pruitt jumps guard but Kealoha stands there with Pruitt around his waist. Pruitt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kealoha has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Prince Pruitt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kealoha tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pruitt avoids it.
Pruitt is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Kealoha has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pruitt clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kealoha is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pruitt is defending well though. Kealoha let's go of the attempt for now.

Pruitt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pruitt showed some decent athleticism there.
Pruitt seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Prince Pruitt will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pruitt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kealoha tries to avoid it but Pruitt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kealoha to the ground. Kealoha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pruitt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kealoha as he jumps to the side.

Pruitt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Pruitt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kealoha was covering up waiting for the punch and Pruitt finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Prince Pruitt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
