Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Konijn clinches up against the cage.
Geukens looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Konijn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Geukens gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Konijn wants the takedown. Geukens is fighting it off but Konijn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Geukens's guard against the cage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Konijn stays in close to Geukens's body and controls the position.
Konijn passes into half guard.
Geukens has hold of Konijn's hands but Konijn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Geukens looks like he's trying to stand up.
Konijn is looking to take a break and control but Geukens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, if Konijn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Geukens's coaches at Cozad Amsterdam have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Geukens looks like he's trying to stand up.

Konijn wants to take a breather but Geukens is having none of it.
Konijn seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Andre Konijn wasn't active enough on the ground.
