Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royce White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raffer Steele!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White is looking to clinch.
We've been hearing reports that White has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Steele looks to land a body kick but White moved away.
White takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Royce White has been cut.
Royce White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steele circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Steele as White shoots in.
Steele throws a wild body kick that White sees coming a mile off.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steele.

and Steele counters with a leg kick.
Steele misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steele lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Steele throws a body kick that misses.

White instigates a clinch.
Steele misses with a body punch.
Steele trying to land knees to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for White. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
White wants a takedown but no success here.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Steele trying to stall but White improves his position.
Steele prevents a takedown attempt there.

White manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Steele controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
White trying to keep a closed guard but Steele is proving a slippery customer.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Steele gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Steele slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

White is looking to regain half guard here but Steele keeps moving and retains side control.

Steele keeps control of the position as White tries to break free.
White trying to control the hands but Steele breaks the grip.
White is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Steele is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Steele controlling the positon.
Steele's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
This has been an exciting period of action!
White is in bad spot here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raffer Steele dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Royce White's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


White tries to clinch but Steele is having none of it.
White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
White shoots in for a double leg but Steele sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steele tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steele to the ground. Steele escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

White forces Steele back against the cage and clinches.
White tries to land knees in the clinch but Steele avoids the damage to the body.
White prevents a body shot from Steele.
Steele is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Steele is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Steele looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Steele tries to land knees in the clinch but White avoids the damage to the body.
White is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Steele gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
White is working for takedown but Steele is calmly controlling the position for now.
Steele is looking to control White's arms but White gets an underhook and turns him. Now Steele has his back to the cage.
White is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Steele to keep the fight standing.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

White throws a head kick but Steele moves out of range.
Steele goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
White lands with a thumping leg kick.
White fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steele chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
White tries to clinch up.
White looks for a takedown but Steele sprawls well.
Steele lands with a straight right. White didn't see that one coming.
White pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White wants to clinch but Steele slips to the side

and Steele counters with a nice right hand that sends White toppling to the canvas! White scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Steele finish him?!
Raffer Steele is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Steele.
White fails with a takedown attempt.
Royce White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
White avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steele misses with a body kick.
A combination from White does no damage.
Steele lands a big head kick that sends White to the canvas! Steele follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
