The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iverson goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.

Jones breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Iverson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones.

It looks like Jevon Iverson has been cut.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've been hearing good reports from Iverson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Iverson wants to finish this one by submission but Jones is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Iverson.

Iverson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jones is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jones flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Iverson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jones and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Iverson slips an arm under Jones chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Iverson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Iverson is squeezing on Jones like an anaconda would it's prey. Jones fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
