Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yama Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barksdale kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drop The World- Lil Wayne ft. Eminem. Mama has chosen What's Up People by Maximum The Hormone as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mama keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barksdale feints and then cracks Mama's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mama down.
Barksdale moves into range and connects with a jab.

Barksdale gets a clinch.
Barksdale is trying to maintain a safe position but Mama gets an underhook and turns Barksdale into the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Barksdale.
Barksdale throws a punch but it's blocked by Mama.
Barksdale swings wildly with an uppercut but Mama uses good head movement to avoid it.
A right hook to the body lands for Barksdale.
Barksdale lands a nice uppercut.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mama has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barksdale is pressed up against the cage. Mama has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barksdale down to the mat. Barksdale avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Barksdale looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Mama shoots in but Barksdale avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jermaine Barksdale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yama Mama.
Whack! Barksdale lands a heavy head kick that drops Mama. The ref tackles Barksdale to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mama was done.
