The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takada drops his shoulder and cracks Baumgardner with a huge uppercut! Baumgardner goes down! Can Takada finish him?

Baumgardner is rocked!

It looks like Brian Baumgardner has been cut.
Takada is looking to stand up but Baumgardner won't let him.
Baumgardner is still in real trouble! Can Takada finish him?
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Takada gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Takada throws a hook to the side of Baumgardner's head but Baumgardner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Takada misses with a hook.
Baumgardner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takada's waist but Takada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baumgardner off to one side.
Takada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brian Baumgardner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takada stuffs the takedown.
A slow jab from Takada misses its intended target.
Baumgardner seems to have recovered his senses.

Baumgardner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Takada wants to stand and escape but Baumgardner is having none of it.

Baumgardner drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Baumgardner as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Takada screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Baumgardner! Nice submission victory there!
