The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Legs Iv on his heels. He'll look to pass Legs Iv's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Legs Iv doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Anderson trying to control but Legs Iv is working from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anderson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Legs Iv does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Anderson wants to clinch up but Legs Iv keeps it at a distance.
Legs Iv takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Anderson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Legs Iv keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Legs Iv manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut there from Anderson.
Anderson forces Legs Iv back against the cage and clinches.
Anderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Anderson tries to clinch but Legs Iv is having none of it.
Anderson drops Legs Iv with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Legs Iv looks back up at him and smiles so Anderson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Legs Iv is rocked!
It looks like Mikey Legs Iv has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Legs Iv moves out of range easily.
Oh Legs Iv is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Legs Iv is in big trouble! Anderson is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Legs Iv. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). John Anderson!
John Anderson got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
