Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilton Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reign Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simmons clinches up against the cage.

Simmons gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Simmons is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Simmons must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Simmons postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wise is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Simmons, into his guard.
Wise postures up.
Simmons tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Wise drops back, looking for a kneebar! Simmons looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Simmons looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Simmons!

Simmons goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wise has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Simmons but great work by Wise.

Simmons tries to bench press Wise off him but Wise keeps the position.
Simmons tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Poor strikes thrown by Wise there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Simmons tries to hold on but Wise pushes him away.
Simmons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wise. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You get the feeling that Simmons really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Simmons can't escape the position.
Simmons regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Simmons is trying to stand.

Wise is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Simmons doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wise.
Wise throwing shots but Simmons is blocking nicely.

Wise is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Simmons has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wise is working away from the top position though.

Wise is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Simmons is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
