Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Porfirio Kaufman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen In Da Club as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Porfirio Kaufman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaufman fails to land the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Kaufman or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad.
Morgan tries to clinch there but Kaufman circles away.

Kaufman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Morgan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kaufman is trying to break the clinch but Morgan is controlling him.

Morgan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Morgan seems to be working for a kimura but Kaufman defends the submission attempt.

Morgan is taking a breather. Kaufman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Morgan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kaufman!

Kaufman tries to lock up and control but Morgan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kaufman is looking to control Morgan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kaufman avoid being mounted?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Morgan decides to stand and escape the position.
Mason Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaufman misses with a looping right.
Kaufman tries for a takedown but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Morgan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morgan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Morgan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Morgan works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kaufman is in a horrible position here. Morgan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Kaufman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mason Morgan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Nice uppercut lands for Kaufman. That snapped Morgan's head back.
Kaufman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kaufman throws a right hand that Morgan ducks under and follows up with a left that Morgan also avoids with ease.

Morgan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kaufman's shoulder. That is not cool.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgan stands up and beckons Kaufman to his feet.
Kaufman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Porfirio Kaufman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kaufman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morgan defends it easily.

Mason Morgan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Morgan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
