Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trey Anastasio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Moxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anastasio comes to the cage accompanied by Tweezer. Jonathan Moxon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moxon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A head kick misses from Moxon.
Moxon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anastasio.
Moxon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Moxon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Anastasio will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trey Anastasio will probably get the nod.

Anastasio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
