Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery shoots in for a takedown but Tomic shows good takedown defense.
Montgomery stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Montgomery wants it to stay on the feet.
Tomic has closed the distance and engaged Montgomery in a clinch.
Montgomery looking for a takedown.
Montgomery tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tomic smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danilo Montgomery. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Montgomery displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tomic.
Tomic closes the distance and pushes Montgomery back into the cage.
Tomic fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Montgomery turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Montgomery manages to end up in side control.
The ground and pound from Montgomery seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Tomic is trying to get back to half guard.

Tomic looking for a sweep but Montgomery has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Montgomery pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Montgomery cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Montgomery lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Montgomery postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tomic looks a forlorn figure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tomic is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Montgomery is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Montgomery!
