PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Braydon Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Saatana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saatana has chosen Impaled Nazarene - Sadhu Satana as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key shoots in but Saatana avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Saatana closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Saatana looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Key with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Saatana seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Key is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Saatana scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Key cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Key gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Key has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Saatana doesn't defend quickly enough and Key has managed to lock this one up! Can Saatana escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Key on a fantastic submission victory.
