Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasanov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Li's guard.
Hasanov content to stall in guard here.
Our spies down at at Alpha Elite Private Training inform us that Li has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Li is trying to control the position but Hasanov postures up.
Li has his foot on Hasanov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hasanov works his way back into a safe position though.

Hasanov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Li swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Li escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hasanov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hasanov is working Li over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Li might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hasanov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Li has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hasanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hasanov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Li is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hasanov has his hands clasped together but Li extends and breaks Hasanov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Li.
