Sigurdsson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2ne1 - Can't Nobody. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigurdsson slips under a jab.
Thanarat loads up on a big right hand but Sigurdsson slips the punch.
Thanarat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sigurdsson manages to avoid it.
Thanarat digs a good body shot into Sigurdsson's ribs.
Thanarat scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Thanarat fails with an attempt to clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Thanarat.
Thanarat throws a body kick that misses.
Thanarat moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Thanarat connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've been told by Sigurdsson's head coaches at Ancient Alien Assassin Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Thanarat tries to close the distance and clinch but Sigurdsson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thanarat throws a solid leg kick but Sigurdsson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Thanarat.

Thanarat swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sigurdsson.
Thanarat throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Sigurdsson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thanarat finds it's way round the side to connect with Sigurdsson's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thanarat tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Sigurdsson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thanarat has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Thanarat tried to score with a low kick but Sigurdsson checks it.
