Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Plate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rowdy Rousey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rousey's choice of entrance music: Bad Reputation. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plate looks for a takedown but Rousey sprawls well.
Rousey shoots in and drives through. Plate sprawls well.
Rousey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Plate closes the distance and clinches.
Plate is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Plate pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Plate thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Plate is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rousey will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rousey throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Plate's head.
Rousey throws a leg kick but Plate sees it coming and moves out of range.

and Plate counters by moving into the clinch.
Plate lands a knee to the body.
Plate stalls.

Plate tightens his grip and picks Rousey up, before dumping him to the ground. Rousey manages to land in guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Plate lands a nice short elbow.
Rousey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Plate keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Plate wants to stand but Rousey has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Plate landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Rousey is looking for a sweep. Plate is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, Plate seems content to control.

Plate has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Plate's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
