The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adelhard throws a body punch but Tibbs moves out of range.

Adelhard gets tackled into the cage by Tibbs. Tibbs maintains the clinch.
Adelhard doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tibbs makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Tibbs pulls guard.
Adelhard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tibbs is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tibbs keeping moving, preventing Adelhard from controlling successfully.

Adelhard avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tibbs wants to get back to his feet but Adelhard is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Adelhard passes into half guard.
Tibbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adelhard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
