Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Dum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iggor Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dee Dum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iggor Souza!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dum tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Souza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dum has closed the distance and engaged Souza in a clinch.

Souza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Souza throws a leg kick which misses Dum's front leg but catches the back leg as Dum tries to avoid it.
Dum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Souza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dum somewhat.
Dum misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Souza keeps the fight on the outside.

Dum has taken the fight to the clinch.
Souza stops a takedown attempt from Dum.

Souza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dum shoots in for a takedown but Souza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Souza throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dum.
Souza throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dum is breathing heavily.
Dum shoots in looking for a takedown but Souza manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dum's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dum shoots in looking for a takedown. Souza tries to sprawl out of it but Dum keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Souza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dum takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Iggor Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dum takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Souza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dum as he avoids it easily.
Dum takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A head kick misses from Souza.
Souza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dum is fending him off so far but Souza persists. Nope, Dum circles away and we're back to standing.
Dum closes the distance looking to clinch
and Souza counters with a solid body kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dum. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Souza.
Souza fails with a takedown attempt.
Souza throws a nice looking combination but Dum bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dum with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Souza to score with a decent uppercut.
Dum leaves Souza with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dum shoots in but no luck this time.
Dum could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Souza throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Souza scores with a head kick. Dum tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Dum tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Dum counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Dum shoots in but Souza avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Souza shoots in and drives through. Dum sprawls well.
Dum will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Souza drives through and clinches with Dum against the cage.

Souza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dum shoots in for a takedown but Souza shows good takedown defense.
Dum avoids the head kick by Souza.
Dum is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Souza takes the fight into the clinch.

Souza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Souza. No joy for Dum on that attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dum takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Souza turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iggor Souza dominated that round.
That's time! Dum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Souza rushes Dum and presses him up against the cage.

Souza gets control of Dum's arms and successfully pulls guard. Souza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Souza is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dum might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Souza throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Souza is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Dum keeping hold of Souza's head, controlling as best he can.
Dum trying to hold on to Souza's head to control him but Souza postures up.
Souza misses with a head shot. Dum uses the momentum to regain guard.

Dum managing to control the position.
Dum keeping moving, preventing Souza from controlling successfully.
Dum trying to keep a closed guard but Souza is proving a slippery customer.
Souza wants to stand but Dum is controlling his posture from full guard.
Souza trying to control but Dum is working from the bottom.

Dee Dum has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Souza lands a nice hook to Dum's body. Dum takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Souza misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Souza or perhaps it was just good defense by Dum which made him look bad.
Souza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dum tries to close the distance and clinch but Souza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Souza but Souza pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A looping hook to the body misses from Souza. Dum does a little dance to reset his feet.

Souza throws a right and a left that Dum avoids nicely.
Souza lands a nice looking body shot.
Souza misses with a looping right.
Dum fails with the takedown.
Dum tries a head kick but it misses.
Souza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Souza wants it to stay on the feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dum wants a takedown.
Dum jumps guard but Souza stands there with Dum around his waist. Dum gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Iggor Souza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Souza takes a swing at Dum's ribcage but misses.
Souza throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Souza's waist but Souza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dum off to one side.
A head kick from Souza lands but Dum takes it in his stride.

Dum has managed to clinch.
Dum has had enough of the clinch but Souza keeps him there for the moment.
Souza tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dum smiles and moves away.
Dum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Souza as he jumps to the side.

Souza forces Dum back against the cage and clinches.
Souza creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Souza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Souza swivels and escapes.
Dum with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Souza to score with a decent uppercut.
Souza throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Souza dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dum. That did some damage!
Souza is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dum blocks a head kick by Souza.
Dee Dum has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Iggor Souza is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dum misses the shot to the body.

Iggor Souza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Souza has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
