Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erik Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sean Foster looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gordon rushes Foster and presses him up against the cage.

Gordon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Foster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gordon is fending him off so far but Foster persists. Nope, Gordon circles away and we're back to standing.
Gordon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Foster shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Foster gets slowly back to his feet.

and Gordon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've been hearing that Gordon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Foster tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gordon swivels and escapes.
Foster closes the distance and clinches up with Gordon, looking for a takedown. Foster pushes Gordon against the cage but Gordon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gordon has Foster pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gordon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Foster tumbling to the mat - Gordon dives into Foster's guard.

Foster takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A chopping leg kick lands by Gordon.
Gordon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Foster stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gordon forces Foster back against the cage and clinches.

Gordon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gordon manages to end up in side control.

Gordon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Gordon shoots in and bounces Foster off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foster working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Gordon turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Foster off and cradles Gordon's limp body as Foster celebrates with his corner.
