Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefano Dufinbeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus The Virus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dufinbeger comes to the ring accompanied by Steppin Stone. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dufinbeger misses with a looping right.
Dufinbeger just misses with a punch to the body.
The Virus throws a shot from downtown. Dufinbeger moves away and avoids it.
A combination from The Virus does no damage.
Dufinbeger misses with a few strikes there.
Oooooh!!! The Virus has knocked Dufinbeger down with a huge combo! The Virus steps away and waves a wobbly Dufinbeger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Stefano Dufinbeger has been cut.

Dufinbeger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Virus moves away.
Dufinbeger connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed The Virus momentarily.
Dufinbeger throws the left hand but The Virus avoids the punch easily.
The Virus throws a lazy uppercut
and Dufinbeger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Cyrus The Virus has been cut.
Dufinbeger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Virus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dufinbeger throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

The Virus loads up on a big right hand but Dufinbeger slips the punch.
Dufinbeger shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. The Virus eats them both and turns towards Dufinbeger to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dufinbeger will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The Virus connects with a looping right hand.

The Virus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The Virus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dufinbegers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Dufinbeger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The Virus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dufinbeger throws out the jab.

and The Virus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dufinbeger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Virus circles away quickly and effectively.
The Virus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dufinbeger falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling The Virus to counter with a crisp jab.
Dufinbeger shoots for a double leg takedown but The Virus sprawls well. He's pushed Dufinbeger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dufinbeger misses with a hook.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The Virus doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Dufinbeger has The Virus pressed against the ropes, preventing The Virus from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The Virus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Dufinbeger throws a right hand that The Virus ducks under and follows up with a left that The Virus also avoids with ease.

Dufinbeger lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Stefano Dufinbeger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dufinbeger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Dufinbeger is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The Virus looks to throw the jab but Dufinbeger is out of range.

and The Virus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The Virus gets a clinch.
The Virus can't find room to land a body shot as Dufinbeger controls the action.
The Virus is trying to break the clinch but Dufinbeger has him pressed against the ropes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Cyrus The Virus will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The Virus tries to keep at a distance but Dufinbeger has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dufinbeger has had enough of the clinch but The Virus keeps him there for the moment.
The Virus works on Dufinbeger's body with a couple of short punches.
The Virus lands a body shot.
Our sources have told us that Dufinbeger has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

The Virus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cyrus The Virus seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The Virus sends Dufinbeger crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! The Virus is motioning to the referee to let Dufinbeger up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The Virus connects with a stiff jab that staggers Dufinbeger - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
