The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mary shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Silva avoids the body shot from Mary.
Mary shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
Mary tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Oooh a lovely combination from Silva sends Mary down but not out. Silva dives into side control looking to finish.

Oh Mary is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva finds Mary's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Mary flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Silva lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Mary will be OK.
