Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Linden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeff Linden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Linden but Linden pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Linden cracks a nice hook into Hunt's ribs.

Linden gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hunt blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Hunt is fighting off a takedown attempt but Linden is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hunt to the mat. Hunt regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Linden drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Linden jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hunt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Linden, up you get!

Linden misses with a wild body shot.
Hunt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Linden was well out of range. Poor timing from Hunt.
Nice body punch from Linden.
Linden stuffs the takedown attempt from Hunt. Hunt gets slowly back to his feet.
Linden just misses with a punch to the body.
Linden tries to clinch up but Hunt circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Linden which made him look bad.
Jeff Linden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Hunt.

Linden rushes Hunt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Linden gets control of Hunt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Linden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Linden is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hunt slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Linden pulls Hunt in close to prevent any damage.
Hunt wants to pass the guard but Linden is keeping the position.

Hunt has gone for a leg lock! Linden slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hunt's guard.
Hunt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Linden is one step ahead there.
Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Linden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Linden throws an elbow that misses. Hunt uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Linden's guard. Nice move by Hunt!

Linden wants to stand up but Hunt is controlling him.
Linden preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Linden pulls Hunt in to control the position.
Hunt postures up.
Linden has his hands on Hunt's head, controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jeff Linden just wasn't active enough.
Linden throws a half hearted mid kick.

Hunt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Linden swivels and escapes.

Hunt instigates a clinch.
Linden misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hunt.

Linden gets control of Hunt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Linden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hunt lands a couple of decent looking shots.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunt lands a couple of digs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hunt throws a big right hand that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeff Linden dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A left and a right from Linden both land. Nice combination.
Hunt throws a series of punches but Linden moves out of range.
Hunt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hunt there as he acknowledges the shot.

Hunt gets a double leg takedown into Linden's guard.
Linden could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Linden looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunt prevents Linden from getting back to his feet.

Hunt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Linden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hunt has Linden in his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Linden wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.
Hunt has Linden pulled in close to control his posture.

Linden is looking to take a break and control but Hunt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jeff Linden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Linden throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Linden is working for a submission of some sort.
Hunt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Linden is working away from the top position though.
Hunt is not content to let Linden control the position.
Hunt is pressing down on Linden's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Linden is looking to work some ground and pound but Hunt has wrist control.

Hunt wants to sweep here but Linden controlling him for the moment.

Linden misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Linden has hold of Hunt's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hunt seems comfortable defending it but Linden has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hunt is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hunt is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Linden couldn't care less - he's delighted!
