PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Vegata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuin has chosen Remo WIlliams Theme as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Vegata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Master Chuin!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuin tries a head kick but it misses.

Vegata feints and as Chuin raises his hands in defense, Vegata changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Chuin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vegata defends well.

Chuin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vegata is aware though and is defending well.

Chuin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vegata manages to get himself to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vegata holds on and takes a little breather.
