The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takahashi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rua bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takahashi's head backwards.
Takahashi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rua throws a head kick but Takahashi moves out of range.
Takahashi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Takahashi throws a low kick, looking for Rua's leg but Rua calmly moves out of range.

Takahashi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Lyoto Rua has been cut.
