Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Kulot!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hessler pushes Kulot up against the cage in a clinch.

Hessler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice uppercut lands for Hessler. That snapped Kulot's head back.
Kulot throws a head kick that misses
and Hessler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kulot throws a hook but Hessler blocks it.
Kulot throws a big shot that misses.
Kulot wants to clinch up but Hessler keeps it at a distance.
A head kick misses from Kulot.
Hessler avoids the head kick by Kulot.
Kulot on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hessler. Hessler obviously looking to wear him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hessler drops Kulot with a right and a left! Hessler comes rushing in but Kulot regains his composure and manages to keep Hessler in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hessler lands a couple of digs.

Kulot wants to stand but Hessler is controlling the position.
Hessler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hessler working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kulot's head.

Hessler is pushing down on Kulot's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kulot is fighting to maintain full guard but Hessler has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hessler thows a huge punch but Kulot dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hessler lands a nice short elbow.
Hessler seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hessler is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Kulot wants to get back to his feet.

Kulot has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy - UK. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hessler connects with a nice short shot to Kulot's temple.
Kulot is still in real trouble! Can Hessler finish him?

Hessler works his way into side control.
The referee asks Hessler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hessler prefers to stall for the moment though.
Hessler in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Kulot looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Hessler turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
