Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Justin Herald!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Bourque. Those never looked like landing.
Herald throws a jab but it's blocked by Bourque.
Herald throws a head kick but Bourque moves out of range.
Bourque staying out of range there.
Herald bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bourque's head.

It looks like Timothy Bourque has been cut.
Bourque has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Warehouse in the buildup to the fight.
Herald throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Herald dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bourque. That did some damage!
Bourque really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bourque is breathing heavily.
Herald is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bourque.
Herald connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Herald takes a swing at Bourque's ribcage but misses.
Herald looks to land a combination but Bourque avoids it well.
Herald slips under a jab from Bourque.
Bourque ducks under a wild hook from Herald.
Bourque tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Herald was well out of range. Poor timing from Bourque.
Herald throws a sloppy head kick
and Bourque counters with a body kick that stops Herald in his tracks momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Herald misses with a looping right.
Herald cracks a nice hook into Bourque's ribs.
Bourque takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bourque connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Herald momentarily.
Bourque tries a head kick but it misses.

Bourque gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Bourque tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Herald is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Bourque buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bourque!! Bourque is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Herald throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Herald!
Justin Herald decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
