Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Mangabeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kuure's choice of entrance music: I'm Coming Home. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuure closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mangabeira did well to prevent Kuure getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kuure wants to pass the guard but Mangabeira is defending well.
Kuure is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kuure showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kuure stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mangabeira swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've been informed that Kuure has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Kuure content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mangabeira has locked up a guillotine! Mangabeira's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kuure is holding on here and Mangabeira must be using up a lot of energy. Kuure has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mangabeira gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
