The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins thuds a left hand into Benitez's body.
Benitez throws a front kick that sends Jenkins stumbling back into the cage.
Benitez displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Thurgood Jenkins has been cut.
The fighters circling - Benitez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Benitez loads up on a big right hand but Jenkins slips the punch.

The crowd cheers as Benitez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jenkins doesn't seem phased though.

Benitez throws a nice looking combination but Jenkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jenkins gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Benitez gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Jenkins is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
