The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan shoots in and bounces Ben Faur off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Khan is looking for a sweep. Ben Faur is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Khan is staying active underneath Ben Faur, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ben Faur is stalling here. Khan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ben Faur seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Khan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan wants to get back to his feet but Ben Faur is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ben Faur tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Khan defends well and Ben Faur ends up having to push Khan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
