Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guts Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and NICK HUNT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but HUNT shows good takedown defense.

HUNT shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.

HUNT is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Anderson wants to control but HUNT is keeping busy and won't allow it.

HUNT decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

and HUNT counters with a single leg into guard. Anderson didn't expect that.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

HUNT slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
HUNT lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Anderson down.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

HUNT has hold of Anderson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Anderson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - HUNT cranks the arm and Anderson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Anderson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
