The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clothesoff thows a body shot but no joy.
Maximus moves away from the strike by Clothesoff.
Clothesoff looks to land a right hand but Maximus moved out of range.
Maximus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clothesoff circles away from the clinch attempt.

Maximus misses with a takedown attempt - Clothesoff sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Maximus moves in looking to clinch but Clothesoff pushes him off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Clothesoff tries to keep at a distance but Maximus has taken the fight into the clinch.

Maximus tries to throw a body punch but Clothesoff avoids it by throwing Maximus back against the cage.

Maximus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maximus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Clothesoff is looking to reverse the position.
Maximus remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Clothesoff manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Clothesoff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maximus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clothesoff.

Maximus does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Clothesoff throws a low kick, looking for Maximus's leg but Maximus calmly moves out of range.
