Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Noah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kong Zhen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Noah gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Noah tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Noah looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Noah is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zhen defends well.
Zhen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Noah might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Zhen wants to get up but he can't break Noah's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Noah wants to stand but Zhen is controlling the position.

Noah has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Zhen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Zhen is looking to clinch but Noah is avoiding it.
Zhen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Noah darts in looking for a takedown but Zhen gets double underhooks and turns Noah into the cage.
Zhen wants a takedown.

Zhen wants the takedown. Noah is fighting it off but Zhen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Noah's guard against the cage.
Noah has his hands on Zhen's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zhen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Zhen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Zhen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Noah is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
