Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Greg Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rorion Joaquin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rorion Joaquin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joaquin fails with the takedown
and Dixon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Dixon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dixon.
Rorion Joaquin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dixon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Joaquin's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Dixon gets to his feet - Joaquin follows without any prompting.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dixon is nestled in close to Joaquin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dixon is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Dixon is looking to take a break and control but Joaquin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dixon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Dixon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Dixon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Joaquin is not content to let Dixon control the position.
Dixon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Joaquin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Dixon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Joaquin sees it coming and defends easily.

Dixon passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Joaquin!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooh!!! Dixon has knocked Joaquin down with a huge combo! Dixon steps away and waves a wobbly Joaquin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dixon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Joaquin is still in real trouble! Can Dixon finish him?
Dixon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dixon loads up on a big left hand. Joaquin felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Dixon looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Joaquin can't hide his disappointment, as Dixon celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Dixon!
A relieved looking Greg Dixon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
