The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slim misses with a two punch combination.
Slim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tyroon throws out the jab.
Slim jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A jab from Tyroon misses.
Nice straight punches there by Tyroon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tyroon.
Slim moves out of range of the strikes.
Tyroon misses with a series of wild punches.
Tyroon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tyroon moves into the clinch.
Tyroon scores with a nice hook to the head.
Tyroon lands a body punch in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tyroon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyroon doesn't manage to clinch there - Slim circles away.
Slim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tyroon.

Slim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tyroon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tyroon lands a head kick!

It looks like Barbados Slim has been cut.
Slim throws a leg kick but Tyroon checks it.
A punch combination from Tyroon misses.
Slim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyroon's waist but Tyroon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slim off to one side.

Tyroon has Slim up against the cage in a clinch.

Tyroon breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Tyroon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tyroon fails to land with a series of punches.
Tyroon slaps away a takedown attempt from Slim, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barbados Slim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyroon throws a body punch but Slim moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tyroon tries to clinch but Slim is having none of it.
Tyroon lands a slapping body shot.
Slim shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tyroon defends it nicely.
Tyroon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tyroon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tyroon clinches.

Tyroon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tyroon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Tyroon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Slim has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyroon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Slim is looking to break free of the clinch but Tyroon has double underhooks.
A nice right hand lands inside from Tyroon.
Slim has Tyroon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tyroon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tyroon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A big left from Slim misses.
Slim misses with a low kick.
Tyroon scores with a shot to the body.

Tyroon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Slim looks up at the clock. Bad move! Tyroon lands a right hand from hell, dropping Slim. Tyroon pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Brad Tyroon was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
