The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petasse jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Charco throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Charco is looking to score with low kicks.
Charco swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Charco dives in and scores a takedown into Petasse's guard.
Charco looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've been hearing good reports from Petasse's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Petasse looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Charco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Charco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Charco sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Charco throws a big right hand that misses.

Charco working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Petasse's head.

Charco avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Charco controlling from the top position.
Charco trying to control the position from guard on top but Petasse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Petasse is looking for a triangle but Charco pushes his legs off easily.

Charco drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Charco as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Petasse screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Charco! Nice submission victory there!
