Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brokeman fails with the takedown

and Khan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brokeman won't be happy with that.
Brokeman looking for a sweep but Khan has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Brokeman tries to control the position but Khan now has his back.
I really don't envy Brokeman right now.
Brokeman trying to control the hands but Khan breaks the grip.
Khan biding his time, looking for the opening.
Brokeman rolls, trying to escape but Khan keeps control of the position.

Brokeman is working hard here to advance position.
Brokeman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brokeman covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brokeman is trying to break free.
Khan is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Khan is trying to stick to Brokeman's back but Brokeman is turning into Khan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Khan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Brokeman.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brokeman is looking to advance position but Khan has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Brokeman is looking to improve his position but Khan isn't that keen on the idea.
Khan looking to control and managing it successfully.
Brokeman is desperately trying to improve his position but Khan has a good base and remains in mount.

Khan trying to control but Brokeman is having none of it.
Brokeman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Brokeman misses with a takedown attempt
and Khan counters with a nice uppercut.
Brokeman tries for a takedown but Khan circles away easily

and Khan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Brokeman is trying to get back to full guard.

Khan moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Brokeman.
Brokeman tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Khan easily slips into full mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Khan prevents Brokeman from getting the reversal.
We've been informed that Khan has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Khan has hold of Brokeman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brokeman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Brokeman is wriggling around trying to escape.

Khan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


It looks like Tedd Brokeman has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tedd Brokeman's cut is getting worse.

Khan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brokeman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Khan wants to take Brokeman's back but he can't do it this time.

Khan is landing with some decent strikes but Brokeman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brokeman trying desperately to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damian Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Tedd Brokeman's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Brokeman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Khan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Brokeman!
Brokeman is looking for a sweep.
Khan lands a nice forearm strike.
Brokeman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Khan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Brokeman is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Khan jumps into side control!

Brokeman tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Damian Khan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Brokeman tries to reverse the position but Khan maintains control.

Brokeman is in all sorts of trouble here.
Khan controlling the pace for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Damian Khan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Khan has Brokeman up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Khan scores with the left hand. Brokeman knows he should have avoided that one.
Brokeman doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Khan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Khan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A decent looking cross lands there for Khan.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Khan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brokeman gets control of Khan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brokeman will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Damian Khan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Khan stays in close to Brokeman's body and controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Damian Khan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Khan takes a swing at Brokeman's ribcage but misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Damian Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
